The Millennium ADC is the finest A/D converter on the marketoffering unsurpassed performance and an optional RIAA section of equally high potential.
The Millennium ADC is a high-performance 2-channel Analog to Digital Converter equipped with the finest technology available, and the designers were given a completely free rein, with no cost constraints in their quest for the highest possible performance. We began by optimizing and filtering our preferred Holmgren-based toroidal power supply, engineering local low noise supplies for all active components. This paved the way for the finest dual mono converter technology ever seen.
Using a combination of state-of-the-art analog circuitry and digital signal processing to support the two balanced 24 bit converters per channel, the Millennium ADC sets new performance standards for analog to digital conversion.
The Millennium ADC features 4 analog line inputs and an optional Phono Stage as a plug-in module that allows a gramophone to be connected directly to the Millennium ADC.
The RIAA equalization in the Lyngdorf Phono Stage is implemented with tight-tolerance polypropylene capacitors. To further improve de-emphasis possibilities, an additional 7 de-emphasis curves are available in the DSP for optimal playback of records made before implementation of the RIAA standard (Record Industry Association of America).
Overall, the Millennium ADC is an advanced and extremely versatile product which can be employed in many different set-ups.
The Millennium ADC is a full dual mono design with all the benefits this encompasses in terms of channel separation and overall sound quality.

The Millennium ADC is equipped with coaxial (RCA), optical (Toslink) and AES (XLR) digital output that allows interfacing with any digital pre- or integrated amplifier. Furthermore it is equipped with a Millennium Link connection. So, in case you are using it with a Millennium Mk II or IV amplifier you only use this connection which transports both audio and control signal. With this connection the two products will work as if they were one integrated unit.
