 The DPA-1 is a true digital pre-amplifier from Lyngdorf incorporating the innovative RoomPerfect room correction technology that allows you to access to the real sound of your audio system.

 When listening to your audio system you hear the 3 dimensional soundfield - i.e. the direct sound from your speakers as well as all the reflections. The reflections add ambience and thus the sensation of "space" and "air". However, most room corrections systems measure only at the listening position meaning that the correction is based on one-dimensional information.

The DPA-1 is fully balanced from input to output if driven with a balanced analog source, and if not driven with a balanced source, the signal is immediately transformed to a balanced signal.
The fully balanced design gives clear advantages regarding hum and noise suppression - also from other sources.

Yes, the DPA-1 is a very good stereo preamplifier, but what we want to emphasize is its Room Perfect exclusive acoustic correction system. When many devices (preamps, processors and AV receivers) feature automatic calibration systems, and some also solutions for acoustic correction, the Room Perfect takes indisputable leader position in this field. Not only because it really manages to correct the imperfections of our living rooms, but because it keeps the personality of the loudspeakers nearly intact.
